Last August 13-18, I went on a trip to Singapore with and to attend the 2009 Singapore Toys, Games, and Comic Convention! Of course we also went to Sentosa, and the Night Safari :3 We're lucky enough to have friends in SG to let us stay in their condos and tour us around... and feed us good food!

I'm missing the Black Pepper Crabs and Cereal Prawns from Jumbo in Dempsey, and the curry from Delhi Restaurant along Race Course road. We also had a food trip in the Takashimaya food court (because their Takoyaki isn't pathetic like ours T_T), and of course, Makansutra :3

In the con, we met ~asuka-sakumo and saw her wonderful clay creations, and a lot of other dA artists too. It's amazing that the indie artists are given so much space in the convention, not like here in Manila - where most of the time, space is cramped.

Too bad most of our convention pics got lost for some strange reason - we don't know. But the experience that couldn't be captured with photos was absolutely great, as it was the first out-of-the-country trip I've done with my friends <3

Although we're broke because we ate so much and had lots of shopping, we're hoping to do this again next year! Maybe in another country too :3
